About this service
Illovo Blinds is a made-to-measure window shading service for Illovo and the suburbs immediately around it. Nothing on this site is sold in a standard size: every roller, sunscreen, venetian, concealed and motorised blind is manufactured to the dimensions taken at your own openings and installed by the fitting team that brings it.
The order of events does not vary. You send the enquiry form or open the chat, and one of our expert consultants will contact you shortly to arrange a free in-home measure. At that visit each window is measured properly and the fabric, openness and control are worked through against the light that pane actually receives — the low western sun, the bounce off the glass along the ridge, who can see in once the lamps go on. A written quote follows, itemised window by window, so there is nothing verbal to argue about later. Approve it and the blinds are made to those figures, fitted, levelled and demonstrated before anyone leaves.
Illovo is the base; the same process runs through Melrose and Melrose Arch, Hyde Park, Atholl and Sandown. What you tell us is used only to arrange that call-back, and is handled under POPIA.
